The N

I hear you, bro.

I've had it. I told myself, "one more thing" after the 942-never-being obsolete (until one week after I bought it) incident, and that was going to be that.

So I now find myself calling Craptastic Cablevision and D* to see who can give me the Moose 24/7 the cheapest. I hate doing it because I love the equipment so, but E* has violated the "General Principles" rule so often, it's time to move on.

One thing about my 7 years with E*, it's sure made TV watching an adventure.

Check out Skyvisions DSR 410 deal, might meet your requirments:

As a parent of 3 kids that are four an under, I have to say that this is a non-issue. The DVR has plenty of noggin shows recorded from earlier in the day, so if there is time to watch in the evening, we just pick from the list of recorded shows.

The aging out of old episodes keeps the programming fresh.

Scott, I USED that pun on the News Monitor this week! Oh joy, we were thinking alike!

I put five posts from The N's forums on the News Monitor as part of wall-to-EKB-wall coverage, and I also corrected the grammar.
