Stretch-O-Vision sucks.

Ted Turner could mess up a wet dream.

He married Jane Fonda and I assume he consumated the marriage. E Nuff said! Bleh. Puke!!!

She screwed us. He screwed her. Now he is screwing us. TNTHD sucks monkey balls!!!!!!!

Ted Turner is not affiliated with TNT (or Jane Fonda for that matter).:D

He is still responsible for the bastard station that he spawned.
No he isn't because he sold his media holdings to Time Warner in circa 1994 (as in well over a decade ago) which was long before TNT-HD and/or stretch-vision was created. You need to do a little history research. Time Warner is 100% responsible and Ted Turner has nothing to do with operations in any form what so ever.

I'm still ticked off at Alexander Graham Bell for the outrageous rates on my AT&T cell phone!!!

I'm sure this has been explored ad nauseum but seriously, what's Time Warner's thinking on this?

I know the masses might protest seeing black bands but even when TNT inevitably crops and begins a film in HD it may switch to stretch-o-vision SD depending on who knows what - their electricity use quota for the day? Are they just too cheap to get a HD transfer and provide bandwidth for HD for the entire film? Is stretch-o-vision their form of copyright protection?
