I was offered a free upgrade from the original Hopper to the one that has the Sling built in.

I pretty much understand the technology of being able to watch live and recorded shows on my tablet/cell phone.

So my questions are pretty lame. I'm just wondering about how this hopper compares to my old one as far as usability and learning curve are concerned.

Also is the UI and speed the same?

If you can answer or point me to a link that compares the two I'd appreciate it

No answers and no link. Nothing but rumors, and nothing more. We'll all find out together next year.

???

The HWS is a little faster than the original Hopper, and the UI is the same

There is a rumor that a Hopper 3 might come out next year.
