Joe- Casino Royale, first BD DVD. Second time around and I enjoyed it more in BluRay than in SD. The Samsung is working just fine. I have not yet tested the firmware and updated, I am using it stock as it arrived. There were no glitches or problems.
The Samsung player appears to respond to commands faster than the Toshiba HD DVD A30 but not by much. both are slow, way slow compared to my old DVD player.
The other video I saw was House of Daggers. I liked that in the demo so I rented it too.
I ordered Fifth Element from Amazon and that will be my first BluRay DVD I will own.
BTW- I'm using the higher bandwidth rated HDMI cable$ on both the HD DVD and the Blu Ray players so maybe this is helping with those stutters others are complaining about.

Perhaps your model already has the updates Don. Glad you liked Casino. Try out the Guardian with Kevin Costner -- yeah yeah I know - its Kevin Costner but this movie really looks good on BD especially the dark sceens and the story about our Coast Guard is pretty cool. Sounds great too.
Joe- you probably already heard but both my Toshiba and Samsung were at legacy Firmware. I upgraded them both. Never had any problem with the Samsung in the 8-10 or so BD I played but felt it wise to do the firmware upgrade. It went without trouble.
Also, please understand that I likely have seen every movie out in DVD so many of these are repeat views for me in BD or HD DVD. Just watched Fifth Element and Spiderman 3 in BD yesterday. Brought home Pearl Harbor tonight- How fitting!
I saw the new releases came in but have been checked out since Tuesday. Pirates end of the world and Superbad. I want to see Pirates tonight so I just got the regular DVD. BB only had 3 copies of the BluRay. I ordered some from Amazon.com but they have been back ordered for a week now. Ship date is Dec 17th. One is Bourne Ultimatum.
Oh forgot to comment on Guardian movie. I liked it and thought it was the best role Costner had. He did a good job. His style reminded me of me when I taught some of my advanced diver courses. My wife said the same thing. When she told me, I reminded her, I didn't get killed. Many of his lines were classic if you ever went through open water survival courses. Once in awhile a movie comes along that is pretty authentic. That was one. Rangers, Seals, and Marine recon always get the hero glory. It's about time the Coast Guard get some too.
