USB HARD Disk recommendation?

Looking for a 250GB USB portable HD. One that is reliable to mainly keep data... Any recommendations and experience using one of these will be appreciated. Thanks

I've got a bunch of Lacie 300Gb drives at work that I use . They've been more than reliable. I've had a couple of them for over 2 yrs. They stand up to abuse well.

We use Seagate at work and I have one at home, no problems so far. I see the new FreeAgent models even come with a 5 year warranty. :up

In my work, I use lots of external hard drives. They just keep getting cheaper all the time. I buy internals and connect them via the simple USV to IDE cable plus the dongle power packs that sell for around $20.

Another vote here for the 500GB and up WD World Book; get the edition with the myriad of connections, USB, firewire, ethernet.
