VIP 622 and Harman Kardon AVR347 ?

Hi all,

I have my VIP622 connected to AVR347 with HDMI and no audio.
I try with the Toshiba HD-DVD - and it works fine.
I test the same Vip622 with an Onkyo 705 and the audio Worked out the HDMI.
I also tryed 2 AVR 347, same problem in both.

Any Ideas ?

Is your connection from the AVR347 to your TV HDMI to DVI? I did some reading in the AVS forum yesterday regarding this same issue with some Sony HDMI switching receivers. With these receivers, having a DVI connection in the chain to the TV can disable the HDMI audio to the receiver (handshake failures). Only solution was to use Toslink or analog for the audio.

When you said "With these receivers" did you mean the AVR347 or the VIP 622 ?

You have an amp for the audio but it does not sync with audio.
