Vizio Remote Code for Directv Receiver

Hello All,

I have a Vizio L42 HDTV. I am trying to program its remote to work with my Directv HD receiver. I tried all of the codes in the Vizio manual for Directv but none of them worked. Does anyone know what the code might be?

Only oem remotes made by UEI, will have a code for the current line of directv receivers. Some vizio remotes are made by UEI, have you tried codes 1377 or 01377?

Try these: 10864,10885, 11756

If you have an older Vizio, the current codes may not work. You should use the Hitachi codes.

The OP wants to control the directv receiver with vizio remote, not the other way around. stop with tv codes.
