[VOOM] 20 years from now...

I just got back from seeing The Bourne Supremecy. I can't help but wonder in
the future if new movies are going to available not in theaters but at home
via on-demand or some other technology. All I know is I can't stand going to
the movies. 1) OBLIVIONS show up at the last minute searching for seats and
irritate everyone who bothered to show up on time to get their seats. 2) Why
is it normal people know to eat with their mouths closed and OBLIVIONS think
everyone within 50 feet want to hear what they're eating? 3) Most movie
theaters show a msg to turn off cell phones and don't talk during the movie.
Why do OBLIVIONS think everyone wants to hear them open their traps? Good
grief, shut the flip up!

Okay.. I'm done venting now ;-)

I feel your pain, Robert...

That's why I haven't been in a movie theater for 10 years or more. :no

That heaven for VOOM (now that I'm starting to see some spectacular picture quality!) and Netflix!!! :D :D

Last time I went was to an Imax and at that It took some arm twisting to get me to go. Now I am just trying to convince my wife to let me put one of those in my house somewhere hehe. Hell who needs a back yard anyhow.

going to the movies now is a social thing mostly. just to get out of the house, have something to discuss at work, etc.

The Last time me and the wife went to the movies someone brought 2 baby infants that didn't start crying until the movie started and they never left and they cried most of the time we we're there, (got my money back) lol, Anyway , I don't think Voom will be around in 20 years , but maybe some of their programs will , if one of the other sat company's buy them out.

Channel Mapping looks correct (sorta)

Buying Voom Receiver elsewhere
