I checked Voom just now in Erie, PA and everything looks ok. They finally added WJET-DT
but I can never get it properly. I just scrolled through the four available channels and can
see all of them (WJET cuts out as usual).

Must be something wrong with your receiver.

RE: [VOOM] All local channels mapped to just FOX afflicate

Hold the front panel power button in for 10 seconds and let the box reboot.

That's about all you can do for that condition.

Sorry,

Wilt

I got a suprise this morning. I turned on my VOOM and all my local
channels are identified and correctly shows the current program for
that channel in the listing. The problem is that when I tune to any of
my channels they are all mapped to the FOX affililiate, 66 in Erie, PA.
Tune to 24 and it shows the lisitng for 24 but the feed is from channel
66. Same is true from channel 12 and channel 54. All are FOX channel
66. Anybody else see this problem? this is a new one for me.

I am currently experiencing this same phenomenon. The reboot holding the power button did not resolve the problem.

Any suggestions?

I have a service call coming up in one week! I do not think he will have any extra pieces of equipment to test my stb.

Possibly a bad 8VSB module?

please help!

I did the reboot and it did solve the problem. You have to hold the button in for 10 full seconds before releaseing it and then wait for the unit to fully power down before you try to turn it on again.

Yes, I rebooted by holding it down until it starts the reboot process. It powers down, then it comes back on. I did it again tonight and now none of my locals are working. I unplugged everything and reseated the 8VSB module. THen plugged it all back up.

I get all of the sat signals, now the locals are not responding. The satellite on the front panel turns red when it is tuned to any of the local channels. I am positive, nothing changed regarding the antenna. It is located inside my attic. I will check later on this afternoon and maybe try a new diplexer.

I did some unplugging and resetting over the weekend and now like, rkr0923, I get no OTA at all. The sat symbol on front now turns red when tuned to an OTA channel.

I bought a diplexer to swap out and that did not work. I am thinking it is the 8VSB module.

You could be correct. Please call to schedule a service call.

I unplugged my STB for a few and got my locals back. But, this morning when I turned it on all my locals were mapped to CBS.......go figure. And 2 of them were 19-2 which I haven't been able to get??????
I unplug again and the locals are back but no 19-2 which I really do want. I don't know what's going on but I kinda wish I wouldn't have dumped D*tv so soon. Trying to be patient, running thin.
