Hi chrisc909
I am in Riverside. I had Voom installed about two weeks ago. I got no OTA
channels, not suprising considering the installers halfhearted atempt. I put in
a call for an antenna upgrade. While waiting I tried pulling off the diverter or
whatever it's called, connected the voom cable direct and connected the little
radioshack ant ( already on my roof) to the OTA input. I now get all the OTA
channels, even more than I got with this ant. connected to an analog TV tuner. I
wonder why my installer didn't think to try this. The ant. and cable where
already there.
I was supprised how little of the local OTA programing is HD and have yet to
see any OTA programing (SD or HD) broadcast in DD5.1
