RE: [VOOM] Voom and a 2nd Service?
I have va va voom and all my local channels are digital (CBS NBC ABC PBS FOX
PAX). I kinda miss the PPV option, but the quality of HD and DD 5.1 is what
I REALLY go for! My wife especially likes the Equator channel. We like
traveling and they have some great programs on "Smart Travels". Sometimes
PBS also airs them (in HD!).

I've got va va voom, directv and comcast basic cable (its cheaper by a
few $ for internet this way than to cut the cable).
Between the 3 i'm paying way too much, but I cant cut directv unless i
order digital cable because my kid and wife would kill me if i took
away noggin and a few other kids channels.
If you like what you have stick with it.. I only tried out voom,
because I wanted to see what their hd looked like compared to the cable
HD I used to have and to get a free antenna install
.
Don't get me wrong I like voom, but if you have to pair it with another
service it quickly loses its luster when you start seeing the combined
amount of the bills..
