Could experts in this group answer a couple of questions for me:
1. Does DVI and component ports on the back of Voom box output at
the same time? Is it possible to connect 2 TVs using component & DVI
at the same time?
2. If I need to connect Voom DVI port to my Benq projector which has
VGA port, do I need a DVI-D to VGA adapter? I can't seem to find
such kind of adapter.

Thanks in advance...

Yes, all (6) video and (4) audio outputs are active at the same time. So, yes you can connect several TVs to one STB, but they will all show the same channel!

VOOM doesn't offer RGB output (only Y/Pr/Pb). You might be able to find an Y/Pr/Pb to RGB converter, but those are rather expensive.

In case you have further questions about the box, I put together a FAQ about VOOM Set-Top Box. You can find it here: http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=13946
