[VOOM] Re: VOOM comment, and a question

The mystery button controls the settings of the box.

If you pop it and all four amber lights go, it's in Native mode.
Which means the box gets to chose 1080i,720p,480i or 480p
Top light is 1080
2nd 720
bottom two are 480

My Sat signal is 95 / 96.
My OTA signal is never the same.. 1,3,5,9,21,56,61, always changing...
My current software version is 00.05.68 << is this current?

There you go.. OTA signal that "reaches" 61.. no wonder you have problems..
you need an OTA signal of atleast 70 minimum. Over 80 and you shouldn't have
any issues at all unless it's a hard rain. Over 90 and it'll stay on even
during a good rain. Under 70.. especially under 60 and you can forget it. So
it sounds like you either need an amp or a omni directional OTA.
