After the new software download, I started getting flickering and blue
screens and then DVI connection messages started popping up. I had to
remove my monster dvi cable and go to component to fix it.

Thanks for all your help.

Me too! Please, can anyone help? I need the DVI to work, as my two component inputs are taken by my dvd and xbox. The DVI loses picture when surfing -- only audio comes through!

Has this problem been fixed? Have they stopped downloading the new software? I haven't gotten it yet and it has been 10 days since they started distributing it.

I think Voom stop sending out the new download due to the bugs you all have been reporting. I haven't received the new download, so I guess they are working out the bugs.

They should look at the bugs in the new software. It is really
bad. I have two boxes. One with the new software and one without.
The one with the new software locks if you try to change channels
quickly. You get lots of black screens, etc., too. The new
software is very buggy and should not have been sent out. I wish I
could go back to the old software on both boxes.

I can't watch Voom via DVI, there's too much noise in their video. Maybe when they chase away the "skeeters" I'll go back to DVI. DVI looks awesome OTA, but not so hot via VOOM, I prefer Component.
