I had a two month trial subscription that was about to expire. I received an e-mail with a six month @ $4.99/month offer. So I called and agreed to the six month offer and declined the one year at $95 offer that the CSR tried to push on me. So, guess what I was billed for? Yep, the one year deal at $95 + fees showed up on my CC. I had to cancel the one year deal and negotiate with the CSR to restore the 6 month deal. What a hassle.

I rarely check my statements (bad habit I know). XM charged me 55$ on Nov 23rd.
Here I thought I was getting free XM for the past 2 years but have been actually playing 200$ for it.

I have had issues with their billing in the past, but have not in a while. Sorry to hear about the issues. I am on one of their 6 months for $25, but don't see sticking around much after that. I am tired of the DJs and how they talk and talk and talk on the music stations. Just. Play. Music.

I've never had much luck talking to thier "Customer Service " people ...

Usually I can't understand them, really wish they would hire people that speak fluent ENGLISH.

I don't think I have EVER talked with someone in the US.

I just got off the phone with them, no problem understanding the CSR which was a first.

I was trying for the 6 month/$25 deal, but no soap. Just an annual as shown on their website. Turned it down and they wouldn't budge.

Oh well, it isn't like I'm in the car all that much anyway. I have a 2009 Buick that I bought new that after 4.5 years only has a little over 17K miles on it.

Just cancel and then the real offers will start.

Welcome Vulnox!! :welcome

This is why I do the invoice thing. I don't mind paying the $2 invoice fee to make sure they don't auto bill anything. :) We agree on a cost every 5-6 months and they send me an invoice which we can pay online. No hassles.

I don't need to watch my bills. There are not going to be anymore. After about 5 years and happy with pricing and programming until around Feb of 2013, the programming went to hell in a hand basket. So when the month of June shows up on my calendar, that will be one expense that will turn into a ghost!!:popcorn

I just got an offer for 5 months for $20 in the mail the other day...

Well I did a google search on siriusxm deals. Different number but it is them. They wouldn't give the $25/6 month deal, but they gave an $86 for a year. total w/tax and all was right at $90. I'm happy enough with that.

Now I can switch back and forth between the right and left political nutjob yakkers and yell at the radio on tomorrow's trip back home. It will be a great 6+ hours!! :)

ROFL!!! :D

I just got an email for $20 for 5 months.

They don't seem to get it that I have service already... I don't know why they keep trying to get me to sign up my old radios which died a long time ago...

I purchased 2 sirius radios from a ebay seller preactivated 6 months ago and they are still working.

Until the next "free preview" period and they send out the deactivation codes at the end of the promotion. Keep your radios turned off during that time. I've had a portable radio running for 5 years after cancellation being mindful of this.
