My house I have been living in for a year now has 2 dish's on the roof. One I am currently using. Is there any use for the other one? Can I hook up to it or do I need a receiver?

Some dma's used to need two dishes or "mixed arc" due to locals being mostly on 61.5. I know in wi they needed mixed arc for locals until eastern arc became the main dish around here.

Step one: hollow out the lnb.
Step two: insert USB wifi adapter (also known as a dongle)
Step three: run a long enough USB jumper from said dongle to USB port of a computer.
Step four: use said computer to find open unlocked wifi access points.
Step five: enjoy your new free internet service....

You are welcome.

Seriously? That is awesome! What kind of increased range would you be looking at?
