Would I be able to recieve the signal from Satellite: Express AM44 at 11.0 W in New York?

I live in New York. They recently moved Press TV to Satellite: Express AM44 at 11.0 W. Would I be able to receive that in New York with a standard satellite dish? Thanks for you help in advance!

would not know my limit is 37°.
but someone should know here.
generally you can go 70° in both directions if you have LOS, and the sat beam gets to you.

No. You can see the satellite at a little lower than 12 degrees elevation in New York City. But the beam is aimed at Europe: http://eng.rscc.ru/userfiles/gallery/am44_2.gif . Same story for Nilesat 201 @ 7W which also carries Press TV. It seems Press TV is not now viewable from North America on FTA. You'll have to watch via Internet: http://www.presstv.com/live.html
