Hey Billion

Congrats on the coolsat

We who have the BUD really have a head start by having a dish that is already on the belt! I also wanted to try out FTA and bought a viewsat extreme a few months ago. it was just a matter of hooking up a splitter and then finding which REAL sat names were the equiv of the 4dtv names. I hope the Coolsat manual was better than the Viewsat!

When I bought the Viewsat, I did not know of this forum. I have no serious gripes but after I look back, I probably would have done the coolsat 5000 instead.

My fisrt Sat scan yielded too many stations on G10R to count! Of course, that does not even include the languages that I do not speak!

I already bought a dedicated package for FTA but will hang out on the BUD until spring comes!
regards
jeff
