Why not ask your state legislators? Dish doesn't make the laws, they just follow them.

Im not mad at dish im mad at the law like you say... I guess its the kind of idiotic law like the one where your wife cant be on top. I also need to find out what the law is before i can look into it further. i have looked and found nothing so far.

The US South is pure and clean, no porn there.

I'm sure your God-fearing legislators would never indulge in such filth, such as viewing internet porn or going to a strip club. Why, I suspect even Hooters restaurants have a hard time of making a go of it in the South.

Ha! What you don't know is that preachers are the biggest consumer's of it. I was shocked when I first started. Back in the primestar days we would have to swap out their boxes for them so nobody would know. Do as I say, not as I do, as it were. Then there are the pentecostal preachers who aren't supposed to have tv at all, according to their chosen religion. That'll take your respect for them down a few pegs, especially when you are related to some pentecostals who abide their religion, rather than picking and choosing which customs to follow.

Its kind of funny as some of the best strip clubs I have been too have been in the south. (cant be in the military and not go to one. :) It's a cardinal sin if you don't! )

:rolleyes:Hooters had their own airline for a while that flew between Charlotte, NC & Myrtle Beach, SC :hatsoff:Those are very southern cities.

Well, as I already said, the adult porn on Dish is edit. You aren't even seeing the entire released film. If anyone cares to know, many states still have very limited laws on sex. Its sad, but we live in a free country but as for our bodies, they aren't free. I am a porn star, and believe me, I know I broke alot of STUPID laws throughout the country.

it might not be a state law, It could be a local law.

The exemption of "obscenity" from the First Amendment's protection of freedom of speech is an abomination that never should have been allowed to happen. The Supreme Court Justices who ruled for that should've immediately been removed from the bench by way of being incarcerated for insanity, as there is no mention of sex in the Constitution and their job is to interpret law rather than create it.

On the other hand, I too have no idea why anybody with access to the Internet would ever pay for pornography.

It's been a while since I ordered a "feature", but as I remember "Xtacy" was NOT edited. I actually called Dish and asked which channel provided the "best" movies. I spoke with a younger american man, so he knew what I was asking. Was pretty funny.

He's not claiming that the sex scenes on XTSY are edited, he is saying that the content (ie: length) of the film is edited. This is done to fit into the 90 minute time slot for PPV purposes (rather than a monthly subscription). So, you might be missing some in-between scene shots, but as far as the action goes, (almost) anything goes.

Exactly. If you want un-edited porn pipped in, try ITVN.com if you have high speed internet.
