It's has recently dropped to 29° in Jackson MS. A few days ago it was in the forties with occasional falling leaves.

Heatwave here today in Central Connecticut when compared to Ionia. Currently 21.3 degrees headed up to what sounds like a warm 35 degrees. Can you say Heat Wave my friends? No neither can I, but its been awhile since we have seen double digit temps much less temps above 32 degrees.

We have a friendship at WION with a "sister 1430" owned by Brian Winnekins and his wife in Durand, WI.
Another GREAT locally owned station which happens to share our position on the AM dial. Great people!

This morning, for fun...we posted on THEIR FB page a note that they've sent us their cold, and that tonight
we were headed for minus 7. They responded with: "It's currently minus 14".....

Funny how our listeners here did not find this comparison helpful. I thought it would be.
Oh well! It's the (warm) thought that counts!
