Just like the title says, how many HD channels do you actually watch?

I got 3

History
Discovery
MHD

I watch my local HD's more then anything, and here I am thinking is this really worth $20 more a month for 3 channels?

I can see when more channels get launched like FX, Comedy Central, CMT, VH1, etc it might be more worthwhile.

Is it just me?

The same, three or four. The rest is Voom CRAP that does not interest me! I agree with you rcdallas... FX, ABC family, VH1, Playboy, etc should be more there rather then the crap that's there.

And here we go....

Many more for me. AltudHD, FoxrmHD, A&E, TNT, HDNET, HDNMV, ESPN, ESPN2, UNIHD, HGTV, VS/GF, MHD, RAVE, RUSH, MNSTR, SCIEN, And locals OTA/622 = about a $1.25 / channel. Someday I hope to see SPEED and FX but I can wait with out asking when.

I am a movie watcher so the four HD premiums, HD Net movies and Monsters HD make up about eighty percent of my viewing. The rest of my time is spent with the news channels on but they are not a high HD priority with me as I am on the computer while those are on and I am listening more than I am watching.

I watch all the sports channels, including WorldSport for my CFL fix. One of my two RSNs is now carrying some HD content.

I also like HDNET movies, as well. I wind up watching the traditional nets in HD most of all, though.

It will be nice when services like TNT and A&E actually carry HD content on their HD service.

I actually watch a good deal of the HD Channels I receive. I do not get the premium channels, but of the other channels the ones I watch the most are as follows:

ESPN, ESPN2, Discovery, HD Theater, History HD, National Geographic, Science Channel, TLC, Rush HD, HDNet Movies

I probably watch 75% hd. With one of our local news now showing in hd that number will go up. If I had Fox Business Channel,CNN AND Weather Channel hd (two of them are not full time hd) I would probably be about 90% hd.

I watch most all the NON-Vooms. I just don't find much of interest on the Vooms now that I've had them for awhile.

A&E HD
Big Ten Network HD
Discovery HD
Discovery HD Theater
DISH Network PPV in HD
Equator HD
ESPN HD
ESPN2 HD
Food Network HD
GamePlay HD
Golf/Versus HD
HDNet
HDNet Movies

HGTV HD
MHD
National Geographic HD*
NFL Network HD
Rave HD
TBS in HD
The Science Channel
TLC
TNT HD

And when they get the Tulsa Locals up, I will be adding them to this list!

If the HD version of a channel exists I will always watch it. So, my answer would be about 5 channels right now. It is the same as every other cable line up question. People only watch the channels they like, which are different from everyone else, including others in the same household.

I watch a lot of the premiums, HGTV, History, NatGeo, Discoveries, Monsters, Versus, my regional Sun Sports for Lightning hockey games, some Rave and MHD on the occasion there is something that tickles my fancy... I am sure I am missing something...

what I don't watch is the HD PPVs, or any PPV for that matter. I own a lot of movies on DVD and HD-DVD and if I am going to shall out that much I'll shell out the extra and own it in my collection. It is bad enough I spend $200+ month for cable and Dish Network.

Edit- I have also been enjoying Voom's Equator HD lately... I like that show in particular about avoiding ripoffs while traveling abroad. Good stuff!

I tried to watch TBS, TNT, A&E HD and History HD but after 3 seconds I switched to the SD channel or to something else all together because the HD channel was in stretch-o-vision and I cannot stomach that!

I watch all 5 of Dish HD channels I get and the free OTA 6 channels.
I have the old DISH standalone PKG at $26 a month. No SD AT pkg.
More than enough HD for me.

Oh Yes I have the free 3 month SHOWTIME Ch which I will drop.
