Maxconsole.net has announced that they will be releasing a cable that allows legacy xBox 360's to output 1080p HDMI. This cable is supposed to be released in 4 weeks or so. We'll see whether or not it really does do what it says. Hopefully it's not an analog - digital converter and it actually is able to pull the digital signal directly from the xbox.

Enjoy.

1080p is already currently possible with a VGA cable, it is likely and adapter for that, since the non-elite 360 doesnt output 1080p otherwise as far as I know.

Site slow/not loading for me atm.

It's possible with component too, the article even mentions that.

My guess is that it's nothing more than an analog to digital converter. Anything else would require cracking into the XBOX itself.

Hmm I didn't remember this and bought a VGA Cable, thnks God that Rat Shack had it on sale for $22.99(Monster Cable, so go figure)

I got to check it with my new Sammy LCD(lnt-4065FX), just bought it last Saturday.:D

well guess what they finally came out with it

That's not 1080p. It's 1080i which we already get. Not sure why anyone would make that cable other then that fact to be able to connect to HDMI. I just use component anyways because my TV only have 1 HDMI port on it and I don't have a receiver that will do HDMI switching.

Buying another HDTV (bigger this time)
