Has new 625 firmware been deployed in the last couple of days? I'm seeing all sorts of odd behavior the last two days from my 625 (and I forget what the last firmware release number was, so I am unable to figure out on my own if new firmware has been deployed).

If I finish a DVR event and go back to live tv with a guide screen up, sometimes it takes 10-15 seconds for live tv to show up in the box in the upper right hand corner.

When I watch a dvr, sometimes it'll just pause/freeze frame right in the middle of playing back a prior recording. I hit the forward 30 seconds button and playback resumes (but then I have to hit the reverse 7 seconds button a few times to catch the part of the program I missed while unfreezing the video).

There has even been times I'd hit the forward 30 second button to skip over commercials and the dvr playback would just freeze. I've been fixing those occasional issues by hitting the stop button, powering off the 625, and then back on and going to DVR and playing my recorded event and all plays fine again.

Considering all the freaky issues I've had the last two days related to dVR events, I wonder if DISH deployed new (yet buggy) firmware for the 625 that removes some of the items that were found to be infringing on TIVO's patents (the case that DISH recently finished losing in court).

Wrong forum. The 625 is not a hd receiver. The TIVO changes that Dish made were done many months ago.

Recording same show every day-old ones dont delete.
