CW added in HD for 6 more major markets

Newshawk from dbstalk checks the locals lookup tool each week (alot of work) and has reported that CW stations have been added in HD for:

Boston, Denver, Miami, Phoenix, Portland OR, and Washington DC.

My head is spinning over the absurdity of this thread. It started off great and then turned into a squabble fest. And it STILL did not address that us in the New Haven market got the CW as well (and now we can watch SMACKDOWN! in HD!)

Yes DirecTV now has the CW here in Connecticut.

I'd like my CW to be on DirecTV without ota. The sad part is I contacted my CW affilitate and they are more then willing to let DirecTV have the signal if they want it. I just don't know who to contact at DirecTV to make it happen.

Yes... apparently between 8 AM and 10 PM Wednesday DirecTV updated the Boston listings to delete WLVI-56 HD from the list. I'm sure it was delayed due to technical issues and will be added once the issues are resolved.

Actually, with the increasing number of markets (11) who have all six major commercial network affiliates in HD, the list is getting shorter on what I have to check each Wednesday.
