I live in the northeast a suburb of NYC. I do not want to put two dishes on my roof. I understand that the HD channels are on the 61.5 satellite for my location. Is there any talk or possibility that Dish will be doing anything to eliminate the need for two dishes? Is my only option to switch to Direct TV?

Dish will be putting a lot of stuff at 61.5, and I believe eventually changing to an all-mpeg4 service at that and nearby locations, meaning one dish for everything. Look up Eastern Arc throughout the forum and in the pub area for more information. It won't be short term though.
