What is the absolute minumum that one can subscribe to and keep a dish account active?

I currently subscribe to the top 250 plus TV Japan, and local HD channels.

Would it be possible to shut it all down except for TV Japan?

I am considering a move to the other sat service due to more HD being available in Hawaii, but they do not carry TV Japan.....

Appreciate any information available before I begin negotiating with the CSR's

If you have HD equipment ,HD Only,or Americas Top 100 is the lowest you can go! If you pick top 100 without HD you have to pay a $7 HD enabling fee.

Thanks for the response. I will be dealing with the CSR's in a day or so..

I own all four of my receivers. Hate to leave dish, but they offer almost nothing in HD for Hawaii and it appears as though they are not interested in improving the situation anytime soon.

If you own everything you can just sub to TV Japan and pay $5 for a standard definition receiver and turn the others off. If you want locals you can pay for locals, but in HD you need to pay the HD enabling fee ($7).

The only issue I have with going with DIRECTV is the current 2 year commitment they want.
