Does anyone know if there is a way to see what Satellite and Transponder i'm pulling in a particular channel?
I could of sworn there was a way to do it, but can't remember.

GO to the channel that you want to see on the television for example weather channel 214 then with you remote press menu 6 1 1 which should give you satellite 119 transponder 6
Thanks. I did not realize the point dish screen automatically adjusted to the sat and tp of the channel you were on.
I have just noticed that my 61.5 satellite I use to use fro Skyangle which came in on transponders 23 and 32 I beliver dish network has dropped that sigal strength as it was a modified 77 now 60 on t25 and 68 now 49 on t32 but my 61.5 t14 is now 82. Just to give you an idea my 119 t 14 is 78 with my 110 t14 is 77 with my 118.7 t16 is 70. Keep in mind these are all the new modiifed lower readings. Hope this helps anyone.
Put foil over your 119 LNB, then do a check switch (it wont detect 119) then go to 200 for CNN or 140 for ESPN and it should come in in MPEG 4 SD... at leas that is the theory we are working with right now
I dont think we're authorized to see these MPEG4 SD channels. There's been much speculation on a smartcard we'll need to get for our VIP receivers as part of Eastern Arc.
