Just got the Dish all HD pack with the 722 installed yesterday. Have a new 32" lcd Mag model 3MF337B/27. The Dish tech could not get the Dish remote to accept any codes that he had. I tried power scan and all the codes listed on Dish for Mag and Phillips. I called Magnavox today They said that their codes are 4 digit, not 3 digit. Reading these forums I see a history of problems for Dish with Mag on codes. The latest post was almost 2 years old. Have there been any soultions found for the Magnavox sets since then? Thanks.

I've never had a problem programming a DISH remote to a Magnavox. I usually use code 566 or sometimes 525. When it comes to programming a DISH remote, anything Magnavox tells you is going to be worthless as they won't know DISH's remotes, just their own which probably use a 4 digit code set. When you enter a code, press the # key afterwards and make sure the TV button blinks 3 times to show that it has accepted the code. If it doesn't blink 3 times, then you're not putting the code in correctly or the remote is bad. Try a different remote in that case.

Yes, 566 usually works.

Wonder if this is a newer model of Magnavox that isn't compatiable with the Dish remotes yet?

Tried 525 and 566 again. Remote accepts it and flashes 3 times but to no effect. Thanks for the help. There are 8 happy reviews on Amazon for this set. Maybe I will do a review of my set and ask someone there about the Dish remote accepting Magnavox codes.

I tried 066 ( I think that was a Phillps code who I understand makes Magnavox).. Anyway no go. I did post a review on Amazon today to review the TV and put in a plug to see if anyone has had success with the Dish remote. Thanks for taking the time to help.

There are several Magnavox HD tv's that will not work with the Dish remotes. Has been that way for a couple of years. It still appears to be an issue, as I could not get one to work the other day on an install, and my own personal tv will not work either.
