I live just north of Milwaukee, WI. I have a SuperDish. System Info says that I am looking at satellites 110, 119, and 121. However, I am not sure that I get any channels on 121.

I would like to install HD - I believe that this would require looking at satellite 61.5.

Would I need an additional dish or could the Dish 1000 be installed in my area so I could see 110, 119 and 61.5 with one dish?

I have called Dish several times and it is more satifying beating your head on a concrete floor than talking with them.

110, 119 and 61.5 are not possible using one dish, 61.5 can be added using a separate dish. If you want one dish, you would need a variation of the Dish 1000 and it would give you 110, 119 and 129.

I will definitely investigate the Eastern Arc. It may be worth the wait.

121 use to have Milwaukee locals on it but now they're on 110.

The 121 LNB is not being used right now. Dish gutted that satellite with all programming and moved to other satellites. The locals went to 110 or 129 and the International channels went to 118.7
