Is DISH ever going to move forward with this feature? I see they have added more content, but most is NOW 3.99? They were crazy when it was priced 2.99 for 30 year old movies! Do that many people actually purchase content to justify an increase?

The new tab "tv entertainment" still has no content, and I'm sure there will be no free content based on DISH past history.

garys, the OP is not refering to selection 3 but under selection 5 there is a new tab labeled TV entertainment. (with no programs yet)

Thanks,

Yes I was referring to the "new" TV Entertainment tab under DISH Online. I do have the listings garys refers to also...

I don't know who works on this for DISH, but.....

I guess no news was relayed to Scott regarding their direction on this.

Then try to be a bit clearer on you OP, TV entertainment show under the first screen also titled Dish On Line, then under that Dish On Line is another TV entertainment. You should make sure everyone knows which you are talking about

wow, didn't know you felt so strongly about it. I thought it was pretty clear, with the thread titled "DISH Online"...the TV entertainment tab you are referring to shows up under "My Recordings".

Anyway, I am looking for any info regarding the whole "DISH Online" issue and what their plans may be.

My error, page reads 'Dish On Demand', thought it stated 'Dish On Line'. I didn't get to the Dish On Line page. Didn't see they added that due to not being interested in paying $12 for old movies. I didn't read any updates that anything was added to the On Line section. Sorry for any confusion.

Note: The TV entertainment section I referred to is under the Dish On Demand and not under My Recordings, the only items under My Recordings are the dvr recording you set up to record.

The DishONLINE feature is still an experiment for Dish--and ViP DVR users. Even Charlie said at the last Chat that Dish is still evaluating how customers use this feature.

I used DishONLINE once about a month ago for my niece. While it was a surprisingly positive experience, I would not use it for myself because there is no HD content and the current prices are too high.

As for the TV tab of DishONLINE: I would hope we can see some TV fare at no cost, as is the case for other TV Entertainment. But there had better be HD content on that thing.
