I am an existing (6 years) E* customer and I currently subscribe to AT200 and what is the equivalent to Turbo Silver. I want to upgrade to what is now called Turbo Gold. However, if I'm correct, this is only for NEW customers. So, without contacting a E* CSR, if at all possible, can anyone tell me what I qualify for being an existing customer? Would it be the old package that's a step up from what I have now (I can't remember the pkg. name...Essential, maybe- It was the middle HD pkg.) at the OLD price? Thanks for any help!

Per all the notes we have, all new TurboHD standalone packages are only available to the NEW customers right now, the info continues that E* will allow EXISTING customers to start using them/switching after February 01, 2009.

Only thing you can do now to get to Gold level is to move to AT250+TurboHD Gold combo or America's Everthing+TurboGD Gold combo package ...which of course will cost you extra money. On top of it they allow you to add PlatinumHD pack for extra $10.00 in order to receive additional 7 HD only channels which do not have their SD countraparts.

Combined packages are avail. now but for the standalone Turbo HD packs you will need to wait.

Thanks for the info! I just spoke to a CSR and he said I'd get Nat'l GeoHD, VS.HD, BioHD, TennisHD(blah), LifetimeHD, etc., with AT250 for only 10.00 extra a month and no upgrade fee. Which channels are in this Platinum pkg. you speak of? WAIT..I already get those "Platinum" channels: SmithsonianHD, WFNHD, etc.? What's up with that?
