Hello, new member and HDTV owner here, I have cox cable down here in Phoenix, AZ.

I bought a 50 inch Samsung Plasma 720p, and my cable box is the Explorer 8240HDC.

Is there any way to make it that regular non hd channels auto stretch to fill the screen? I searched and read some stuff and went to the settings and tried the upconvert 1/2 and fixed settings but it doesn't do it? Is this possible or do i have to press the hd zoom every time?

Thank You:D

Why would you want to? That will make the images look distorted.
