Dish on Demand and Sling media products.

After watching the Tech Chat Last nite I was wondering how dish on demand and the various Sling Media products work when your broadband connection is from Satellite i.e. Wildblue or Hughesnet?

Do they have a hard time with latency or does it not work at all??

They never seem to mention anything about using these things with satellite Internet.

Thanks for that and I have to agree. But I was kinda looking for how well it does or does not work on a Satellite Broadband connection.

I'm sure it will be fine. It's not a realtime back and forth, just a download, so I wouldn't imagine you'd have any problems.

the latency of the satellite only effects how long it takes to make a connection. Once it makes the connection (actually starts downloading) it will download just like any internet connection
