Yesterday I tried to setup a series record for my local Fox station and the Seattle Mariners. The HR22 will NOT setup a series record for this program. Is this a restriction on Extra Innings? I was trying to the regular Fox channel (687) rather than the extra innings channel which I believe can change from game to game.

You imply that the regular Fox channel is 687. That's a regional Fox sports network channel for the Northwest. Obviously, one of your RSNs.

How did you try to set up the series link? What terms did you use?

I think I may have received the answer on another forum. The reply stated that UNLES the guide shows a show as a series, it can't be setup as a series.

This morning I was futzing around and discovered that I can setup OTHER shows on this network as a series so I suspect the answer above is correct.

It torques me off a bit as my previous service (Comcast Cable) allowed this channel to record my local baseball team's games (Mariners) as a series. I like to always have the last game recorded in case I forget it's on or I'm doning something else during the game. That way I ALWAYS have the option of watching it and with the commerical skip, I can see the game in half the time.

In case anyone else is having this problem with doing a series, the answer was to check "Info" if the show won't record as a series. In Info, it's suppose to show "Series" IF it's a series. I haven't had time to check this out yet, but it makes sense to me.
