Thought they announced more locals than this on the Twit?

Nice to see some activity on Spotbeam 1 on 129! Anyone in AK to confirm signal on 129 TP 12?

Sweet, more Conus spaced opened up on 110, or is that just EPG data??

Digi, are all of the TEMP HD channel bit rates flat? In other words, do they all appear to be static slates? Just curious.

I'll head home at lunch and take a look. Interesting that they have NBC included since they don't currently carry that in HD! I talked to a local dealer and he said that by May 8 we'll have some national HD.

I don't think Fort Smith locals will be turned on any time soon. E* is playing dumb right now. I can't get FOX or CBS with my OTA set up right now so I'm not sure how long I'll be willing to wait. The DVR is great but not so great when you can't get HD locals. Sports in SD sucks.

Just EPG data.. check the channel range and channel tag.

110 TP 7 - 4 active video streams
110 TP 13 - 4 active video streams
110 TP 17 - 6 active video streams

When I say active I mean non-slate type bandwidths. HD on 110 TP 7 and 13 should look great compared to 61.5/129 national HD.

Great! Check TP 1 - 16 and let us know. Make sure they lock as spotbeam otherwise it is probably just switch "bleed".

Hmmmm, not quite Alaska...tp12=23 signal strength spotbeam.

You're only about an hour drive from Juneau and about a 2 hour ride to Anchorage right? :) :) :) (No I'm not serious...just as you were with that reading on the AK beam)

So nothing on 110 cooking.

How about

61.5, TP23, TP24, TP25, TP27, and TP32, all of which have temps (particularly TP23)
or
129, TP17, TP18, TP19, TP20, TP22, TP26, TP28, TP30, TP31, TP32, all of which have temps?

woo hoo! Grand Junction Locals lit up in HD! (too bad not all the programming is in HD, but oh well). Thank you Dish!

WOW... give me the channel numbers to check and I can pull up the TP's for a quick check. I'll do it later after the second uplink runs today. I don't have a dedicated dish like I do on 110/129/91, so I'll have to swing the motorized over to 61.5 and pull the uplink process down for a few minutes.

Are these up links a slow process or is it fast like turning on a light switch?

Getting the channel piped into the uplink center and over to the uplink side takes a bit of work. But actually changing the tables so I our receivers know how to tune it doesn't take much.
