WWOR Blackout??

They weren't blacking it out because it was in spanish. It was blacked out because the national cable broadcasting rights belong to Fox Sports en Español. WWOR was rebroadcasting the FSE feed. This channel is part of the Dish Latino package and is available to $13 when added to a "classic" pack.

Anyone with NYC locals would be able to see WWOR. Anyone with WWOR as a super station was blacked out.

I just wonder how come Fox just didn't use the SAP on the main channel?

Interestingly enough, WWOR is right this moment in the clear for Game 2.

Of course, it's past 1 AM in New York and the game is over 5 hours long (Bottom 13 as I write this).

Oh, the Yanks just won. CUE FRANK!

Usually they black out the games for like 3hrs-3 hrs 15 mins. After that time frame the blackout is lifted, figuring the game is over.
