eastern arc

I assume you have a 2 dish solution. Dish is trying to get away from that and get everyone on one arc, either western or eastern arc. I myself curretly have a 1000.2 w/ a 61.5 wing dish and wouldn't change to an eastern arc only dish due to the low readings in my area. I install these things and really don't want to lose 25% of my signal to that crappy 1000.4. I enjoy my 80% signal compared to 50% on the 1000.4!

Is there that much difference in signal strength???????? I am in a goofy situation. My sd locals are on wa, but my hd locals are on ea. Trying to decide if I should change or not?

You're not getting all the channels you are paying for, and they want to move even more channels to where you can't get them, as they reorganize their satellite system. They only have a few months to do it all in. Get it done now, before the rush. And while the weather is good.

You do realize the signal on EA is in the 50s due to 8PSK used. WA is mostly QPSK besides 129 which is 8PSK. Thats why 110 and 119 is in the 60-80 range and 129 is in the 40-60 range. Just the way the data is transmitted. I see no difference in signal strength at all.
