I just bought a Sling Adapter for my 722 in order to stream "Hd" to another room that has a PC with a big monitor. Reading through the forums I found that I can use the Sling Client v2.0.3508 in order to bypass the Dish's website loading/logging in which makes things easier/convenient. The question is if somebody has tried to use the UHF remote to control the sling adapter's output? I tried unsuccessfully on mine, but I dont know if I am doing something wrong (I never used the UHF remote before) or it is simply not supported.

That is great news if you are saying that you actually did it. Can you please explain some details on how you set this up? I'm most particularly interested in the password you used. Was this the same as your DISH Satellite TV - $24.99 & HD Free For Life - Let's Watch TV password?
No, when using the Sling adapter the only thing it will let you do with the remote is press select to can the sling operation then you can use the remote for TV2 like normal.
When I opened up my slingplayer it KNEW what the password was to the sling adapter (must be on same LAN until it save the info to your sling account, then you can access remotely) so it just "works" but the only remote options that work are changing channels, and pause, play, FF & rewind. So you can only watch live TV (you can pause) but no DVR items are available.
Well, I'm not doing so well on Windows 7 64-bit. This hung the installer which was unklllable. Now I can't even log out, ever, and my sound over HDMI went away.
OK, the standalone player works pretty well with the above caveats on my XP laptop. Even does a fair job of keeping up with the HD stream, though I'm not positive it's actually HD. I was also pleasantly surprised that the audio on an HD channel, which starts out badly out of sync as the DRA client does, eventually syncs up again.
The Sling Client v2.0.3508will not install on W2K as stated on the CNET download page (and many other places as well). I did find and install 1.5.1, but it's PQ is abysmal. Seems to be designed for a cell phone, not a PC.
