I keep hoping this problem will get fixed, but it persists.

I keep logging in and I keep getting bumped off. It's intermittent. I've tried clearing cache and rubbing a rabbit's foot, but no luck.
I'm on WildBlue ISP and have to keep wondering if latency is the issue. I've got every browser you can imagine and they all have the problem.

Am I missing something? Any new suggestions?

Do you have any spyware cleaning software running that could be clearing your cookies?

I have Symantic Endpoint Protection running in the background. But, I fail to see how it's a cookie problem, I mean, I didn't use to have this problem for the longest time. It's only since the recent changes to this site. If it was a cookie problem, then why is it when I visit other forums, I don't see this same situation?

I log in successfully, then after changing screens, or jumping to different threads, it then bounces me out, forcing me to log back in to complete the action. I visit about a dozen forums, but SATGUYS is the only one where I experience this. I can browse just fine, but when I try to post, that's when things get difficult. It's just a real aggravation. Slows down responding to or initiating posts.

Why would that work any differently than when the settings already clear cookies and browsing data after closing the browser? That's already my default settings.

So, if that's the solution, I need to clear cookies before or after logging into SATGUYS. That's not a solution. Again, this is not an issue with other forums.

Just close SatGuys and then clear the cookies. Then log back in after they have been cleared. You most likely have a corrupt cookie that serves only SatGuys.

So, when exiting Chrome, the clear cookies and browsing utility doesn't work? Again, that is my current default.
I appreciate your suggestions, but what you are asking me to do, is what my browser is already setup to perform upon exiting my browsing session.

Right now, the session is stable and I have not been booted out. I'm starting to wonder if the LAN proxy settings are the culprit. I recall visiting some websites that failed to function properly while using the WildBlue proxy settings. I can turn that off and see if the problem goes away. Again, understand that this is an intermittent problem and very difficult to isolate.

If turning off the WildBlue proxy settings doesn't work, clear your cookies during an existing browsing session. If that still doesn't work then its WildBlue's problem. :D

Yea, I have to wonder sometimes. WildBlue is my only option. The latency is a problem at times. If the cookie exchange is based on timing or response time, there's nothing I can do about it. There's other times when I have to reboot the WB modem to clear other problems. I currently have the WB modem on a timer to reboot each night, while I'm sleeping, just to keep it fresh. Thanks for your suggestions. I was hoping for a permanent solution from another WB user.

You don't have any 3G service where you are? Its possible that timing or response could very well be the issue. But I don't have WildBlue so I can't duplicate the issue. Maybe CS might have an answer?

I live waaaaaaaaaay out of town. Cell service is spotty at best. Right now, WB is my best option when it's not snowing. The next best thing is LOS Wiifi, but the company service is so bad, I'd be better off with copper modem at 14.4! Casper, Wyoming is so far behind in reliable service, it will take a few more years before I can get a dependable alternative.

Looks like I found the problem. I fired up IE with WB proxy settings disabled. My SATGUYS session seems to be stable now. I did find some reports on line about WB problems related to their statellite optimizer when logging into some secure websites, especially banking sites. Disabling the accelerator was the fix in most cases. I'll try this for a while and see if stays stable. I'll use IE for SATGUYS and my other browsers for the rest of the sites. This sure beats logging back in every other minute or so.
