ME TV would be a strong addition to DISH programming. I live in Central NY State and can barely receive the Rochester signal. The channel has a wealth of classic programs. Some cable systems carry it - would DISH ever consider it? What do you think?

Metv is pretty much a subchannel only. The reason its on cable is the local cable franchise can carry it (since its available OTA)

Its one of those channels that probably wont be available to Dish or Direct (AntennaTV is another) as its on OTA

Since I'm in one of those areas that has them both OTA I'd be happy if they just got guide info for AntennaTV (they do have it for MeTV).\

And Mhz Worldview. It would be nice to have a guide for that.

I'd like to have AntennaTV....its the only subchannel that is scrambled up on Big Dish (Metv, thistv, RTV, Universal are all in the clear)

I'd also like guide info on Metv too

You might have to put up a rooftop antenna with a booster and a rotor. I'm in Wayne County, north of Palmyra and with the above set up I get both Rochester and Syracuse locals.

If it is carried on a channels -1 channel (main) and not low powered then it would qualify for must carry with dish/directv

The funny thing for me is that I get MeTV & ThisTV via OTA and I get guide info for MeTV but not for ThisTV.
I wonder why I would get the guide info for one but not the other.

There is a sticky topic on this in the Dish Technical forum.
