When February roles around it normally price increase time for DISH customers, and this year is no difference. But unlike other years only a few minor increases to tell you about.

DISH Latino Basico will increase $3 a month to $22.99

If you have more then on Premium Channel package then your bill is going up $2 a month. If you only have one premium channel package then there is no increase.

If you want a FREE Sling Adapter for your 722 ORDER IT NOW while it is free with rebate, as after 1/31/12 it will cost you $30 with no rebate.

And there you go... not so bad! (Although I am already cringing when I think of what 2013 will bring us!)

That's quite a big jump are you sure it's correct.

I'm already laughing at all the nonsense responses that will follow.

The thread title could have been modified so as not to make EVERYONE think that they are going go get HIT, which they are not.

$30 for the Sling adapter doesn't sound too bad. Not free, but still much better than the original $99.

Is that $2 extra PER PREMIUM or just $2 total?

Either way, so much for price locks! Still, could be worse, but that's borderline false advertising! Dreading next year! Contract will be up though... HMMM!

Just $2 total. Also remember the only things with price locks were the standard packages such as AT150, but not the premium channels.

Thanks Scott! I know, I know, they didn't ACTUALLY false advertise, but simply omitted the fact that it's just the "Primary Programming" that has the price freeze! Always have to read in between the lines!

I'm sure it's probably the lowest price increase out of the major providers though, I also know that DISH can't help it that their programming contracts go up every year, but it's just getting crazy, in 5 years TV will be $200+ a month!

I was expecting Latino Dos to go up because it wasn't protected from a hike. No increase. Dish disappoints again. :D

With the rumor I started about Dish Network looking to buy AT&T, it is very likely Dish with double the programming rates to raise the capital to buy out AT&T.
