Was anything said at CES on NY sports, or is that just a forgotten subject now. I know everyone has a case of Hoppermania, but my contract will be up this year, and I'd like to know if they are at least trying to work out a deal with the NY RSN's.
even then nothing will happen with dishI can't see anything happening until TWC and MSG settle. Then and only then, if the settlement was reasonable, Dish might try to get the same.
I asked and was told not to expect any changes. It's business as usual in that aspect from DISH.

It's pretty simple.....they just don't care about it. And that leads me to believe that the 3,000 subscriber number in upstate NY I heard in passing on TV could be very accurate. Which for an area of over 1.5 million people, there's alot of potential. If DISH cared, they could do well here like they used to.
It's still not going to matter. DISH doesn't care about the upstate NY market and it looks like they don't care about the metro NYC market, either.

They say they are doing well in the NY area without RSN's, but never provide numbers... so we will have to take their word for it.
Their new slogan is Movies,Music and Magic... so obviously sports is not part of their business plan.
