When is Dish going to correct their HD channel list and remove Disney East, West, & XD from the list? How long has it been since they were notified? Is this not false advertisement? DIRT can you ring in on this situation and explain?

Watch they probably settled and are waiting to announce for the launch of Disney Junior.

Funny thing is that according to Disney Junior's website (as of a week ago when I looked) the only two providers that they mention that are not carrying the new channel are Dish and DirecTV.

:eek::eek::eek::rant::rant::dead:dead:facepalm

Don't forget the ever popular "Programing subject to change." statement.

That flies when you actually have the channel and then don't in regards to a contract. Once you don't it shouldn't be on the website.
I don't think it's BS to think someone might sign-up really wanting those channels, and it certainly seems they have been notified about this. They STILL show the welcome pack with HD channels being available.......

At some point consumer fraud laws need to kick in..its one thing to be cheap....but too cheap to correct a website...........

Is it possible that they are required to say they get those channels? Dish is paying Disney for those HD channels and Disney isn't giving them access to it. The contracts between the two companies haven't changed.

Regardless, they need some sort of in your face disclaimer about Disney not allowing the channels to be shown in HD.

its more than disney.. I can understand a channel dispute..but they are claiming 3-4 channels they NEVER carried in HD are in HD

Regardless of whether or not disney allows them to carry the hd feeds it is still false advertising!It is still false advertising even if they are planning to add them at a later time.They don't have them available in hd now and advertise that they do.Furthermore they have been made aware of the mistake and have yet to correct it.I am a loyal dish customer but that is bad business.Get it fixed!

Until they redid the web site, those Disney HDs weren't shown in the packages. The crux of the lawsuit is that Disney says Dish has no contractural rights to the channels with Dish's position that they do. Dish is advertising they have them when they don't. That's a bad thing.

That makes sense. I'm just trying to throw possible reasons out there. Regardless the reason, they need a fat disclaimer regarding the HD channels not being available.
