Program Guide much less specific now
Has anyone else noticed that in the last few weeks the actual program descriptions within the program guide have become a lot less specific to the individual episodes? On some channels, all you get on many shows is a generic description, rather than specific episode descriptions.
For instance, right now on H2, Modern Marvels has this same description for 4 programs in a row: "Education. Celebrating technological breakthroughs and man-made wonders."
This is happening a lot, on quite a few channels. I don't have to explain how much less advantage we can take of the dvr when we can't get a specific description in order to decide whether to record something or not!
What's the deal, do you suppose?
