I didn't know the Hopper had this feature, so I just pair of my set of LG HBS-700 headphones (highly reccommend) and wow this is gonna be sweet! I didn't get yelled at one time for having the TV too loud tonight!!

Having a toddler who always falls asleep on the couch, I love this feature and use it all the time for late night viewing.
No, the Hopper has the capability because of the internal components and the Joey does not have the same components.
You know, after I posted that I kinda figured as much. As long as I have it for the family room, the wife will be very happy!
