I've tried to keep up with all the DISH-Disney-ABC-ESPN stuff which as of today, seems to have reached us with a mostly satisfactory resolution. That said, I've seen numerous mentions of DISH customers finally being able to access the Watch ESPN app but unless I've missed it, no official word has come out from either side of the new contract.

Does anyone know if DISH or ESPN have actually addressed the access to the app for DISH customers officially or not? If they have, any time line thrown out?

I am waiting for the Watch ABC app. I check it everyday on my Apple TV but Dish Network still does not show up as a pay TV provider. I hope it shows up soon.
Me, too; still awaiting the day when we can use Dish Network as a TV Provider on the Disney/ABC apps on AppleTV...

As long as it's ready by August, I'm fine. It will be nice to watch Monday Night Football again. I used to be able to watch it on my TV at work with some rabbit ears but then it moved to ESPN

Right...plus, there's a ton of ESPN3 content that's unavailable any place else. Between Dish Anywhere & Watch ESPN we'll have excellent access to sports programming on mobile devices...here's hoping.

Just depends on how fast Dish's billing system can be set up to communicate with Disney. Disney apps will have to be able to query to see if you are a Dish subscriber of the applicable package.

And the Apps updated to present Dish Network as a provider choice. Of course, the right way to do it would be to query the Disney DB servers for the current list of provider partners.
