why is dish anywhere not autohopping

My Hopper with sling is connected by ether net my remote computer is also connected by ethernet. Trying to watch Unforgettable recording.
No autohhop. It won't allow me to manually skip commercials.
When I attempt to skip forward it starts the recording over from the beginning.

Are you doing this at the receiver or dish anywhere?

autohop is not available for remote viewing you can only autohop when directly viewing the hopper or joey.

Likely just a glitch. Is that the only programming affected
