"kangaroo" appearing even though disabled

just noticed the kangaroo icon in the lower right corner when the joey views the same tuner. I have this disabled in the menu, but it still appears

any idea how to avoid this?

yes, hitting cancel works......but it has never appeared before & nothing has changed in the setup

I only see the kangaroo if someone in the house is watching the same show I am live and they joined in. All I have to do besides hit cancel ,is to make sure all other joeys and the super joey is turned off and then it doesn't show up again.

It appears that disable is only telling you that you are going to change someone else's channel, not necessarily just a way turn off it reminded you that you two are joined in.
