My trees grew up and I have to relocate my black HD dish. I previously also had a 300 dish in the setup. My question is on my Dish Pro Plus LNB I have post #1, #2, #3 and Line-In. Previously with the dual dish setup the line from the 300 dish went to the line-in post and the line from the receiver went to post #2. With just a single line coming from my 222K receiver which post do I connect it to?

The proper term is separator. A regular coax slitter will not work.

Wouldn't it be easier just to cut down the tree then to figure out all this wiring ?

It cost about three thousand dollars to remove a tree.

Is the tree around any power lines? Reason I ask is, sometimes a power company will remove a tree for you rather than just trimming if it has grown substantially and is getting near to power lines.
