Old hopper acting up

I have one of the old hoppers with a sling adaptor. It has been acting very slow over the last few months if not longer. Now when we download something for on demand viewing the picture is all screwed up and some times skips ahead. Thinking about going to the new hopper will I need a tech to come out or will the just ship me the new one and I send back the old one?

They will ship one of a Hopper for Hopper replacement. It will require a new 24 month contract.

Translation: A same model replacement will cost nothing other than maybe shipping. Replacing with newer Hopper with Sling triggers new two year contract.
